Established in 1959, Edmund London & Associates, Inc. has been responsible for the design of over a billion dollars of construction. Our professional staff of architects & associated engineers is experienced in a variety of healthcare facility types including additions and alterations to acute care hospitals, psychiatic hospitals, ambulatory care centers, and medical office buildings.
For five decades our practice has focused on the design of facilities to house and care for the elderly long term care, assisted living, congregate care, and independent apartments for the elderly. We are particularly experienced in the design of special needs facilities such as sub-acute care rehabilitation and memory care.
Edmund London & Associates, Inc. is a medium sized architectural firm and we pride ourselves in our ability to work closely with our clients. The principals of our firm oversee every project, large or small, and are always available for counsel and advise both during and after the construction process. PROGRAMING AND PLANNING
Site analysis and planning, facility programming, space planning, evaluation of existing facilities, construction budgeting and scheduling, long range master planning, and feasibility studies.
ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
Architecture, structural engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, interior design, and landscape architecture
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION & OBSERVATION
We will assist the owner throughout the bid and construction process as part of our basic services including pre-qualification of contractors, review of application of contractor payments and waivers of lien, and site observation in order to ensure that the construction is meeting the design intent.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Construction management, design/build, design/ build/ lease. 
COST CONTROL
We are proud of our ability to predict and control construction costs without sacrificing design and quality. We will work with the client to establish a realistic budget which will meet both the client’s program and budget constraints and, in order to ensure adherence to this budget, accurate cost estimates will be produced after each phase of the design process.
During the entire design process, we employ Value Engineering, which is the constant evaluation of hundreds of options, to be absolutely certain that all decisions result in the most quality for the least cost.
