Edmund London & Associates is experienced in the design of retirement communities that promote social interaction while maintaining privacy and independence. Recent projects include the 92 unit StoryPoint in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the 92 unit StoryPoint in Rockford, Michigan, and The Rivers Grosse Pointe in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. These projects combine one and two bed room apartments designed specifically for the frail elderly with common dining, lounge, and activity areas. Other features include gift shops, ice cream parlors, health clubs, and barber/beauty shops.

ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES

ELA has designed assisted living facilities such as the StoryPoint in Midland, Michigan, and Village Manor Retirement in Hartland, 

Michigan, which provide an alternate living environment for elderly requiring assistance with daily living activities, but not 24 hour nursing care. While living in a residential, non-institutional setting of studio, one and two bed room apartments, residents enjoy central activities
